Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 27, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Animaker Produções ("Animaker", "we") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data of visitors and clients of the website animaker.com.br, in compliance with the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (Law 13.709/2018 — LGPD).

1. Data controller

The data controller for personal data processed under this policy is Animaker Produções, headquartered in São Paulo, Brazil. The Brazilian company registration number (CNPJ) will be confirmed in the final site footer.

For any question related to privacy or the processing of your data, please contact privacidade@animaker.com.br or our general inbox animaker@animaker.com.br.

2. What data we collect

We collect only the minimum necessary to respond to requests and operate the site. The data we may process includes:

  • Contact data voluntarily provided in forms (name, email, company, phone, and message).
  • Browsing data and strictly necessary cookies (preferred language, light/dark theme).
  • Aggregated and anonymized analytics data (when we enable analytics, always based on consent).
  • Email communications when you write to us.

3. Purposes of processing

We process your personal data for specific, legitimate, and transparent purposes:

  • To respond to your briefing, question, or quote request.
  • To establish and perform a contractual relationship when applicable.
  • To improve the usability and content of the site.
  • To comply with legal, regulatory, and tax obligations.
  • To send communications related to ongoing projects — never marketing without prior consent.

The processing of your personal data by Animaker relies on the following legal bases set out in Article 7 of the LGPD:

  • Consent (art. 7, I) — for marketing communications and non-essential cookies.
  • Performance of a contract (art. 7, V) — to conduct contracted projects.
  • Compliance with a legal obligation (art. 7, II) — for tax and accounting retention.
  • Legitimate interest (art. 7, IX) — for site security, fraud prevention, and continuous improvement.

5. Sharing with third parties

We do not sell your data. We share information only with operators essential to delivering the service, always under contracts that require the same standard of protection:

  • Sevalla — application hosting and database in São Paulo, Brazil.
  • Cloudflare — CDN, edge security, and attack protection (data in transit).
  • Resend — transactional email delivery (United States, with Standard Contractual Clauses — SCC).
  • AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic) — only when explicitly integrated into a contracted project, under each vendor's specific policy.
  • Public authorities, when required by law or court order.

6. Retention period

We retain your personal data only for the time necessary for the purposes for which it was collected:

  • Leads that do not convert to a contract: up to 6 months after the last contact.
  • Active clients: throughout the contract and for up to 5 years after its end, for tax, accounting, and litigation defense purposes.
  • Essential cookies: according to the duration defined in the browser (generally up to 12 months).
  • Email communications: for as long as needed for project history.

7. Your rights as data subject

As a data subject, the LGPD guarantees you the right at any time to:

  • Confirm the existence of processing.
  • Access your data.
  • Correct incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated data.
  • Anonymize, block, or delete unnecessary or non-compliant data.
  • Port your data to another provider.
  • Delete data processed with consent.
  • Receive information about public and private entities with which we share your data.
  • Be informed about the option not to provide consent and its consequences.
  • Withdraw consent at any time.

8. How to exercise your rights

To exercise any of the rights described above, simply send an email to privacidade@animaker.com.br stating your request. We will respond within 15 (fifteen) calendar days, except in cases that require additional time, of which we will notify you in advance.

For some requests, we may ask for additional identity verification — always proportionate and respecting your privacy.

9. Cookies

We describe the cookies we use, their purpose, and how to manage them in our dedicated Cookie Policy.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When a material change occurs, we will indicate a new "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, when appropriate, communicate through other means. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
